Treated to protect against rot and fungal attack, they meet the safety standards of the construction industry. C16 Timber: This cost-effective treated timber has multiple uses, including roof rafters, timber framing, ceiling and floor joists, decking, and garden buildings. • How long does delivery take?
Typically, delivery takes between 1-3 days from placing your order. However, factors such as delivery address, existing delivery schedule, and vehicle/driver availability may influence delivery times. Holiday periods and bank holidays can also cause delays. To avoid disappointment, we recommend ordering in advance.
  • What should I expect on delivery day?
Delivery Vehicle: The type of vehicle used for your delivery will depend on the size of your order. Smaller items and some timber orders will be delivered by a pick-up truck. For bulkier items, we use larger vehicles ranging from 7.5 to 26 tonnes, equipped with lorry-mounted cranes. Delivery and Unloading: Kerbside Delivery: All deliveries are made to the kerbside or your driveway. Manual Handling: Please ensure you have sufficient assistance on site to help unload your delivery. Crane Limitations: While our drivers will do their best to accommodate your requests, the crane's reach is approximately 2 metres from the side of the truck. Safety regulations mean the driver has the final say on unloading location. Delivery Times: We cannot guarantee specific delivery times, but we will provide you with an AM or PM slot. Preparation: Please ensure your delivery arrives before any tradespeople are due on site. Additional Information: Driver Confirmation: Our drivers will require a signature on an electronic pad and will take photos of the delivered items. Delivery Inspection: Please check your order upon delivery and inform the driver of any damages. Truck Size: Not all branches have access to all truck sizes. If you have specific access requirements, please let us know in advance, as additional charges may apply. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your local branch.
  • What happens if my order is damaged upon delivery?
If your order is damaged upon delivery, please report the issue to the driver immediately or contact your local branch as soon as possible. You may be asked to provide photos of the damage, and in some cases, a representative may need to inspect the item.
  • What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on most stock items, excluding powdered products like cement and plaster, cement-based boards such as Cedral, and other specified non-returnable items. Restocking or collection fees may apply. For specially ordered items, returns are not accepted. Please contact your local branch for more details.
